Competitions and Awards

An award is granted for the best oral presentation presented by participant of PractiCORR 2025.

The abstract of the presentation should be submitted using the "Submit abstract" button.

The jury consist of three persons: one form Organizing Committee, two from Technical Committee. Committees members do not take part in the competition.
The winner agrees to the public announcement of the results during PractiCORR, publication of her/his name and affiliation on the PractiCORR website, on the website and social media of the Polish Corrosion Society.
The Award, which is based on the decision of the PractiCORR Organizing Committee, consists of a certificate and the amount of 800 EUR.
The winner will be announced on the Conference Closing Ceremony.

The prize is sponsored by the Road and Bridge Research Institute, Corrosion and Chemistry Department.
The prize is participation in any IBDiM course on corrosion protection, conducted in 2026, priced at €1, for one of the participants of PractiCORR. The course is conducted in Polish and takes place in Poland.
Only those interested in participating in the IBDiM course and attending the PractiCORR 2025 Conference can receive and redeem the prize. The rules for receiving the prize will be announced during the Conference.
IBDiM training topics cover a wide range of issues related to corrosion protection of steel and concrete structures – in road, rail, building, transport, and urban infrastructure, as well as in the energy, petrochemical, marine, and offshore sectors.

The prize is participation in the Frosio Corrosion Protection Inspector or FROSIO Insulation Inspector course, priced at €1, for one of the participants of PractiCORR. The course is conducted in Poland, in Polish, and in person. Only those interested in participating in the FROSIO course and attending the PractiCORR 2025 Conference can receive and redeem the prize. The prize can be redeemed at any Frosio Corrosion Protection Inspector or Frosio Insulation Inspector course conducted in 2026 by SLV Duisburg in cooperation with SLV Polska.
The rules for receiving the prize will be announced during the Conference.
The FROSIO Inspector Certification System has achieved high international recognition, and a certified FROSIO inspector is a special confirmation of high qualifications as an inspector in the field of corrosion protection and insulation.
