Welcome to PractiCORR 2027 Conference

the international conference on practical aspects of corrosion protection and coating solutions!

The event will take place on November 24-26, 2027 in  Poland

and will bring together experts, engineers and practitioners from around the world.

Infrastructure and industrial assets are expected to operate longer, under more demanding conditions and with greater pressure to reduce environmental impact and life-cycle cost. At the same time, the energy transition, offshore development, hydrogen technologies, energy storage, nuclear projects, digital inspection and defence resilience are creating new corrosion and fire-protection challenges.
PractiCORR 2027 will bring together the people who design, specify, manufacture, apply, inspect, maintain and research protective systems. By connecting these perspectives, the conference will support better technical decisions, more durable structures and safer industrial practice.

Our mission is to improve the durability, safety and sustainability of structures and industrial assets by promoting open exchange of experience, reliable technical practice and cooperation across professional and national boundaries.

2. ECOLOGY AS A CHALLENGE OF TODAY

We must not forget about the impact of our activities on the environment. Modern protection technologies must be in accordance with the principles of sustainable development. The conference provides a platform to discuss the ecological aspects of structural protection and seek solutions that minimize the impact on the planet, such as solvent-free coatings, low-VOC technologies or renewable raw materials.
 

3. DIFFICULT CHALLENGES OF THE PETROCHEMICAL INDUSTRY

Petrochemicals remain one of the most challenging application areas for protective technologies. Aggressive corrosive environments, extreme temperatures and high risk of fires require innovative solutions. Invited experts will present the latest research and success stories in this challenging field.
 

4. NEW CHALLENGES IN STRUCTURAL PROTECTION

Nuclear power development, energy storage, wind farm construction and other critical infrastructure structures are fields that require adapted protection strategies.
